The objectives of SDC are

  • Send a clear signal of the institution's commitment to investing in learning & development
  • The Student Performance Report Card (SPR) is a detailed report handed over to each student which reflects his current competence, areas of improvement & the knowledge & expertise exhibited in his/her area of specialization. This is to be taken as an input by the student for future development. It is a guide to enable the students to focus on various competencies that will make him successful as his / her career progresses

Competency Development & Mapping

Competency is a unique set of observable performance dimensions that includes individual Knowledge, skills, attitudes & behavior that are required to be successful in a given context. The competency framework followed by VITC is flexible and relevant to the current developmental needs of students and also to possible future needs. This framework has been generated through a process of visionary brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders in the institution. The key features of the framework include:
